A winner has won a $1,000 prize for using a bjs brand toilet paper.
The prize, which was awarded by the Australian Red Cross charity, was presented to a winner of a competition at the charity’s Brisbane headquarters on Thursday.
The winner is a man from Sydney who had used bjs toilets paper.
“We had no idea that we were winning an award and I just thought it was just a cool, cool way to help people,” Mr Lee said.
“It’s really nice to have the chance to give something back to the community, and hopefully help out a couple of other people.”
He is hoping to use the prize money to buy a new toilet.
The charity said the bjs was not a health product and should not be confused with a toilet paper filter.
It said it was a “good way to treat the environmental footprint of our waste stream”.
“It is the cleanest product in our recycling bin, it has no smell or taste and it’s a great way to clean up our waste,” the charity said.
