The paper sandwich chain is offering free wi.fi in its new store locations in Canada and the U.S. to new customers as part of a new promotional campaign aimed at helping customers get used to the brand.
The promotion, called Paper Mate, is available in some Canadian stores and in the U and S. markets, starting today.
Papa John’s said it has partnered with digital media company MediaLink for the promotion.
“We want to offer a new experience to our customers, and this campaign is the perfect way to help them get used,” P&G President and CEO Michael Wertz said in a statement.
Paper Mate is a new product to the chain.
P&g’s previous paper sandwich, Paper Joe, was introduced in October.
It’s not clear how much of a discount will apply to the new product.
P&g said it is offering two free Wi-Fi hotspots for customers who order a paper sandwich on Wednesday.
It will also offer free Wi.fi hotspots in Canada on Wednesday through Friday, including all P> stores.
Paints by Joe and paper mates can be purchased for $6.99 in Canada.
Papa Johns has long struggled to sell its signature sandwich in the United States, with some stores and restaurants citing the fast-food chain’s low sales and low quality.
